Paris Is So Delicious, I Can’t Resist

Paris PastriesParis is a city that requires a high level of restraint.  Everything is so cute and/or so delicious that you’ll want to consume it all. I almost bought a Karl Lagerfeld edition Diet Coke at Kayser Bakery yesterday because the bottle was so cute, and I don’t even drink Diet Coke. Thank God I’m not much of a bread person. I think my head would explode.

Paris would easily make me fat if it weren’t for all the walking. In Paris, I clock somewhere between 18,000 and 20,000 steps a day, according to my trusty pedometer. It’s a good thing, because I have a hard time resisting temptation. Every day, I snack on French chocolate, Nutella crepes, French macarons, French madeleines, chausson aux pommes, and any other French desserts that catch my eye. If you’re thinking about visting Paris, and you’re a foodie or you have a sweet tooth, you’d better pack your will power.
