Cheap Eats in Paris: L’As du Fallafel

Las du Fallafel ParisTucked away on a pedestrian street in the Marais, you’ll find L’As du Fallafel serving the best falafel in Paris. In fact, many travelers rave that it’s the best falafel they’ve had anywhere.

When you go, look closely and you’ll see this printed on the big yellow menu: “L’As du Fallafel is recommended by Lenny Kravitz.” You’ll see it again next to their globe logo. Twice. They really mean it.

The celebrity endorsement may or may not sway you, but fact that the endorsement in English should reassure you that this place is tourist friendly. And the rave reviews online (Yelp, the New York Times, etc.) should be enough to convince any skeptics. Here’s my take:

Cheap Eats in Paris: Pomze Restaurant

Pomze Restaurant in ParisPomze is one of my favorite Paris restaurants for lunch. With generous portions, fresh ingredients, and affordable prices, it’s high on my list of top cheap eats in Paris.

Pomze is a play on the word “pommes” (the French word for apples), because the dishes on their menu are based on apples. Get it?
